After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for late breakfast then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands. Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. Afternoon visit to the waterfalls. After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at your Lodge. Drive to Namanga the border of Kenya and Tanzania where you will be met by the Kenyan driver and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive with a game viewing drive en route to your camp for check in and lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure before departing for a game viewing drive. Later as the sun sets, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Today marks the end of your bush expedition. Have breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out. Your driver guide will meet you at the lobby and you will begin your drive back to Nairobi with a game drive en-route. After breakfast start your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Lake Nakuru National Park, a shallow alkaline lake that is world-renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos; at times, hundreds of thousands of these birds give the lake a pink shimmering glow. The park boasts a huge variety of animals, including leopard which is often found snoozing on the branches of the magnificent yellow-barked acacias, lion, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, warthog, baboon, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe only found in this park in Kenya, white rhino and the rare black rhino which is protected and guarded here. Your journey now takes you to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game viewing drive. You will have one more day of game viewing with all meals and overnight at your camp. The Maasai Mara is arguably Kenya’s most popular game reserve. It is most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film “Out of Africa” was made to a great extend in this sanctuary. There is a profusion of all types of wildlife including the big five. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and the gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. Spend the day on safari in Africa’s richest wildlife viewing arena. Historically teeming with wildlife, the Mara hosts Kenya’s largest lion prides and elephant herds.
